When your potential customer comes across your brand what kind of emotion do you want them to feel.
What are the words that describe your Brand?
Pick 3 - 5 words that best describe your Brand personality. Once you have chosen your words, then write why you chose them.
Gather your Inspiration
Now you can start gathering your inspiration create a secret board on Pinterest and start gathering your inspiration - you will see common themes/styles popping up. Inspiration can come from anywhere and everywhere, you can gather images from websites, instagram you have come across, travel or outdoors.
Select inspiration with intention, based on your words you have chosen that reflect your business.
I suggest you pin approximately 20 -30 images ranging from fonts, colours, patterns, photography styles, quotes, different elements and textures.
Once you have finished pinning, have a look and see if there is fonts, styles and colours jumping out at you.

Once you have gathered your inspiration and with your brand words in mind create your Moodboard for your brand. You can create a moodboard in Canva or powerpoint to put it together.
Keep it simple choose 6-8 images to create your Moodboard and the aim is to capture the overall feeling/style of your brand.

Different colours have different meanings behind them. Now look at the colours you chose to represent your brand. Are they aligned how you want your potential ideal customer to feel when interact/see your brand?
Example: If colours chosen where bright colours such as yellow, orange for your brand, but your words where elegant, luxury - these colours wouldn’t make sense for your brand.
